alpine-pico software package provides Simple text editor from Alpine, a text-based email client, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alpine-pico
alpine-pico is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alpine-pico package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alpine-pico *
You will get with alpine-pico package name, version, architecture and description in a table
